Refund Policy

Returning In-Stock Items 

  • Pieces sold from in-stock inventory are eligible for a return if: 
    • They are returned in as good a condition as when they left the store.
    • Were not discounted 35% or more off regular price when purchased. 
    • Are physically returned to the store, either by the customer themselves or through the Reside Pick-Up Service (all delivery or pick-up fees are applicable and non-refundable).
  • Any valid returns will be fully applied as in-store credit or refunded to the original payment type if returned to Reside Furnishings within 5 days of the original purchase date. 
  • Any valid returns between 6-30 days after the original purchase date will be subject to a 25% restocking fee, or a one-time reselection. Any reselection must be for goods equal to or greater than in value to those that are being returned. 
  • Any item sold at 35% or more off its regular price will be sold in “as-is” condition, with no manufacturer’s warranty, and will be considered a Final Sale that may not be returned to Reside Furnishings for any reason.
  • If customers request a pick-up for items they wish to return, a $99 fee will be charged. This does not include any cleaning or other services, and the customer must ensure the piece they wish to return is in its original condition. This fee only applies to addresses within a 1-hour drive of Reside Furnishings. Customers outside this range must make their own arrangements to have the pieces physically returned. 

Returning Custom Orders 

  • Any item that is custom ordered is subject to a 25% restocking fee if it is returned for any reason other than a recognized manufacturer defect. It must be returned in its original condition by the customer themselves or through the Reside Pick-Up Service for a $99 fee if the address is within 1-hour’s drive of Reside Furnishings. Customers living outside of this range must make their own arrangements to physically return their items to Reside Furnishings. 
  • A 50% deposit is required for any custom order. Any delays in order times are not eligible for compensation or grounds for cancellation. Differences within the manufacturer’s acceptable range on leather variations, dye lots, and wood grain are not grounds for cancellation or compensation. 
  • Returns for custom ordered items must be made within 30 days of when the item was delivered or picked up. 

Items in Storage 

  • We are happy to offer up to 6 months of free storage on any merchandise that has been paid for in full.  
  • Any in-stock item that has been in storage for 30 days or less and has not been picked up or delivered to the customer is eligible for a full refund. 
  • Any in-stock item that has been in storage for 30 days or longer is subject to a 10% restocking fee or a one-time reselection at full value (any storage fees accrued will still be charged).
  • Any re-selection must be for merchandise at or above the same value as the items being returned. 
  • After 6 months of storage, a fee of $25 per month will be added to the invoice total. After 1 year in storage, any merchandise still in storage will be returned once a 25% restocking fee and the applicable storage fees have been taken from the total amount paid. 

All re-stocking fees are applied to the post-tax total of the item.

Any delivery, pick-up, or storage fees are subject to tax and are non-refundable.
